I've been really happy here at my little …place. I painted today too… And later after the paintings were done I realized something. I realized that while I did those paintings I had forgotten about all my heartache and my grief and the waiting and the rectify and my book. I forgot about everything. I even forgot about the problems of the world. It's healing for me to do that, to paint.
