I always talked about art and painting. I would always say I know if I went to school to learn art, I could do it. I don’t know why I said that all these years.

I wanted to paint in 2018 and I just couldn’t start. Then in 2019, end of July I started painting. I was going through an impossible time and when I would paint it helped me get through it. I felt it heal me in my heart. It helped me feel like I was doing something with my life. Even though I was stuck between a rock and a hard place, these paintings gave me movement. I kept each of my paintings and didn’t sell them because there is a piece of me in each of them. They healed me. It’s time to share them.
