I got my paints out to start painting. As I pulled out the drawer to get the tubes, I heard a clink and I saw that a gold ring had fallen on the floor. I hadn't seen that ring for a long time. I picked it up and knew that it wasn't a coincidence. I was trying to capture my belief that everything I touch turns to gold starting this new job. I felt supported in that moment. I wasn’t alone. I felt hope.
